Classes and Placement Test
If you have engaged in any prior study of Chinese, you will participate in a placement exam after you arrive in China. This will help the Alliance staff and teachers place you into the appropriate language level with other Alliance students. The first day of classes begins on the Monday after you arrive in China. During orientation and the weeks to follow, you will also hear more about the Capstone Project, which is a component of one of your area studies or business courses taught in English.
