The Alliance for Global Education partners with Student Universe, a discount student travel organization located in the Boston area, to provide access to discounted student fares. The Student Universe website will recommend a travel plan for your program, which may include: (1) a group flight with pre-reserved seats; (2) a recommended flight that you should book as an individual; or (3) a Student Universe search engine that will assist you in identifying the best flight options.

Whenever possible, Student Universe will attempt to secure a group booking for each program. However, given the restrictions and relative expense associated with group bookings, it may be advantageous to book your travel as an individual, rather than as a group.
Prices for seats can vary considerably depending on travel dates, airlines and departure locations, all of which is taken into consideration when constructing your travel plan.
Student Universe's priority in arranging travel plans is to minimize cost, confirm high flight availability and to ensure arrival on the day the program is scheduled to begin in China. If your travel plan does not include a specific group flight, be assured that The Alliance for Global Education, both here in the U.S. as well as our staff overseas, endeavor to make your arrival for orientation as smooth as possible.
