Welcome, Alliance Parents and Families!

Your student is prepared to embark on the experience of a lifetime, and we want to provide you with helpful supplemental information that can help to ease the transition. 

The Alliance for Global Education provides stimulating, interdisciplinary study abroad programs in China and India that maintain the high academic standards, strong student services, and careful health and safety measures of our partner institutions. Our core mission is to develop and promote innovative programs in vibrant, dynamic Asian countries that are of ever-increasing scholarly, political, and economic interest.

Our U.S.-based staff communicates directly with your student with timely and pertinent information related to their departure and forthcoming experience abroad. Though we very much view parents and families as our partners in facilitating smooth pre-departure planning, and we encourage you to work closely with your student on the many preparations that need to be made, please know that students must be our primary point of contact, and we hope that you will work through them to access much of the information and instructions that have been shared. Your student will reference the Accepted Students Portal and receive regular updates and to-do items from their program managers.

We invite you to get to know the Alliance staff both in the U.S. and in our overseas offices in China and India, and to acquaint yourselves more fully with our website resources. For any questions that are not addressed on our website or that your student cannot answer for you, please don't hesitate to contact your student's respective program manager for China or India.

This is a newer feature of the Alliance website, so do check back regularly as we continue to develop it!  We welcome your comments and suggestions on what might make this part of the site for useful for you.
