Study Abroad Programs in China
The Alliance programs in China offer cultural immersion, experiential learning, and focused academic curricula emphasizing international business, Chinese language, or area studies.
Capstone Projects and Internships. Students design Capstone Projects that allow them to reach a deep understanding of a single aspect of China. Internships are available in Beijing and Shanghai at multinational companies and NGOs.
Intellectually Rigorous Classes. All classes are offered exclusively for Alliance students by local university professors. Chinese classes have a maximum of eight students, and language faculty are selected and trained by the Alliance.
Cultural Immersion and Exploration. Students live with Chinese roommates in Shanghai and Xi’an and may live with host families in Beijing. Activities and Field Study Trips introduce students to people and places they would not otherwise see.
