The Alliance for Global Education has comprehensive fees that cover a wide range of student support services. Our fees include the following:
Academics

- Full academic advising and course selection/approval assistance
- Arcadia University transcript for easy credit transfer

- Grade and credit query assistance
Housing
- Guaranteed pre-arranged housing

- Chinese roommates (at Shanghai programs)
Predeparture support services
- Personalized advising with your Alliance program coordinator
- Detailed pre-departure information to help you prepare to go abroad
- Assistance in accommodating students with disabilities
- Guidance with applying for a visa

On-site services
- Airport pickup for group flights
- Full-time Resident Director for assistance, support, and advising
- 4-day orientation program after arrival
Excursions and activities
- Excursion, including an organized nine-day Field Study Trip and a long-weekend trip in semester programs and a 5-day mid-term trip in summer programs
- Cultural activities and social events throughout the term
Health services and emergency assistance
- Full medical insurance plan and evacuation insurance for all students
- 24-hour emergency assistance and support from on-site Alliance staff
- Access to local medical facilities
Finances

- Support for U.S. university direct billing arrangements
The program price does not include international airfare, meals, passport and visa fees, books or reading packets for courses in English, independent travel, and other items not mentioned as included.
Some U.S. colleges and universities ("direct-bill institutions") pay Alliance fees on behalf of their students. Students attending these direct-bill institutions pay the Alliance program fee directly to their home college or university.
